As a former prosecutor with the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Agostino honed his legal skills in the Criminal Court Bureau, the Domestic Violence Bureau, and the Trials Bureau. During his tenure, Mr. Agostino handled a wide array of cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies, including driving while intoxicated offenses, assault, burglary, robbery, gun possession, shootings, grand larceny, cases involving domestic violence, attempted murder, and murder. Mr. Agostino’s trial experience provided him with a deep understanding of the complexities of criminal law and the justice system.
In addition to his role in the Trials Bureau, Mr. Agostino served as the Chief of Vehicular Crimes at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office where he led investigations and prosecutions of many different cases including driving while intoxicated offenses, vehicular assaults, attempted murder, and murder. Furthermore, Mr. Agostino served as the Deputy Chief of Cyber Crimes where he investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of cases including money laundering, grand larceny, fraud, criminal impersonation, cyber bullying, and other computer crimes. These leadership roles allowed Mr. Agostino to develop specialized expertise in a variety of cases.
After his time in public service, Mr. Agostino transitioned into private practice representing clients in negligence and personal injury cases at a prestigious New York City personal injury law firm. It was at this firm where Mr. Agostino successfully litigated matters involving car accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, and construction accidents, helping his clients obtain the compensation they deserve.
